This project was a collaborative student project from the Art Institute of California San Diego under the auspices of the Sony online Entertainment Mentorship program. I served as the team’s Lead Technical artist doing scripting, rigging, visual effects, customizing gameplay elements within the Unreal Tournament 3 game engine, lighting, modeling, texturing, and solving pipeline problems. This fully functional game level prototype included 3 nodes and was built over the course of two consecutive quarters of study at the Art Institute. The first node was completed over the course of one eleven week term, the second node and the boss fight node were completed over the second eleven week term.
